A can filled with light together with a man in the desert looking for the light. These two works were created after a journey through the desert of Morocco, where you cannot ignore the stilled intense blue sky. 'Solid and luminous', Paul Bowles once wrote. But how sure are we of the color of the light? Isn't it the color of the sand that partly determines this? And even if the matter is solid, it cannot just be caught. Likewise, the color of the sky in the can changes under the influence of the environment, during the day we see a pale light blue sky but after sunset the sky shows itself in a deep saturated blue.
